The simple rules for using Halftask, in plain English. By making an account, you agree to these.
Halftask is a marketplace that connects two kinds of people:
Advertisers — businesses or people who want something promoted.
Publishers — creators with an audience who run those promotions.
Advertisers post campaigns. Publishers bid to do them. You two agree the price and deal directly. We just give you the place to meet, chat and keep track — we don't sit in the middle of your money.
You must be 18 or older to use Halftask.
Give real, correct details when you sign up. Keep your password safe — anything done through your account is your responsibility. If you think someone else got into your account, tell us right away.
One person, one account. Don't pretend to be someone else.
When you post a campaign, be clear about what you want, your budget, and where it should run.
Once a publisher finishes and shares proof, check it. If it's right, approve it and pay them directly. If it's not right, ask them to fix it before you pay. Be fair — don't ask for work and then disappear.
Only bid on work you can actually do. When you win, do the job well and on time.
Share honest proof of your work — the real post link and a screenshot. Don't fake numbers, followers or results.
Payments happen directly between the advertiser and the publisher. You both decide the amount, the method and the timing. Halftask does not hold your money and does not take a cut of your deal.
Halftask may charge for its own optional plans or features (like a subscription). Those charges are separate from what advertisers pay publishers, and we'll always show the price before you pay.
Because the deal is directly between you two, sorting out refunds or non-payment is mainly between you. Ratings keep everyone honest, and you can raise a dispute with us if something goes wrong.
Keep it legal and honest. Don't use Halftask for anything that is:
• illegal, fraudulent or misleading
• hateful, violent, adult or harmful
• spam, scams or fake engagement
• someone else's work or brand used without permission
• anything that breaks Indian law or another platform's rules
You own your own content, but by posting it here you let us show it where needed to run the platform.
After a campaign, advertisers and publishers rate each other. This keeps the marketplace fair and honest.
If something goes wrong, first try to sort it out with the other person through the chat. If you still can't, raise a grievance with us and we'll help review it. We're the platform, not a court — but we'll act on clear misuse.
You can close your account any time.
We can pause or close an account that breaks these rules, cheats other users, or misuses the platform. If money or an active campaign is involved, we'll try to sort that out fairly first.
Halftask is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will never have problems, and we're not responsible for a deal that goes wrong between two users.
We may update these rules as Halftask grows. If we make a big change, we'll let you know. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
